60 servers up today, all the new ones were opened early to funnel the new peeps to those. most servers are low atm, we'll see when people start getting off of work but looks good so far :)

So I started looking into Rift today. Seems like it might have some DAoC PvP appeal. Bards look interesting to me. Do they get increased group run speed and AoE CC like they did in DAoC? Also, clerics have like 10 different ways to spec, are they just different ways to heal / buff?

well i finally got my new hard drive and have a wonderful partition with windows 7 on it :) ready for the next beta event so i can try this game out.

i made a guardian mage on stonecrest to mess around, BG queues are like 10 seconds its great if you just want to pvp a lot

Currendt updates are avalible for Rift open beta, and you can get into the server screen but shows all servers locked.

Thread for compiling suggestions for new people. Pick DPS initially no matter what class you're going. Extra souls are easy to get before you start doing dungeons so ignore healing/tanking. You want to be able to solo as much shit as fast as possible. Others?
